(ABOUT ME)

Hi, I’m Kym, a licensed professional counselor with over 8 years of experience serving Colorado and Missouri.

I work with clients to address obstacles that are interfering in healthy & enjoyable relationships. My work is client-centered and I prefer to know the whole person, not just their problems. By getting to fully know the client, there is a greater likelihood of achieving lasting and meaningful changes. I work to help clients see their potential and also stop engaging in self-sabotaging behaviors.

"I had the blessing of working with Kym for nearly 4 years. Her guidance and wise insight made it so much easier to manage numerous life transitions as I stepped into adulthood. Each session brought clarity as Kym consistently fostered a safe environment committed to growth and building a happier life. Kym was an intentional, attentive, and deeply invested counselor over the years, remembering the large details and the minute ones.
Her style is calming, grounding, supportive, and realistic, which is something I found particularly helpful as someone who anxiously ruminates. After working with Kym, I have developed the tools, habits, and mindset to feel capable of achieving great things while prioritizing my wellness and fulfillment. She is a confident, seasoned professional, and I have always felt I was in good hands with her."

N. & K.S.

"Our marriage was on the brink of divorce. The hurt we caused each other made true forgiveness feel completely impossible. Thankfully, Kym has helped us mend our broken bond. Her strong faith, paired with her professional expertise, has provided the perfect foundation to allow us to emotionally heal. She does not just offer a quick fix, but rather, she lovingly challenges us to put in the hard work required to rebuild our relationship. Through her guidance, we continue to learn how to apply biblical grace, effectively communicate, and genuinely forgive one another. Today, our marriage is stronger and more deeply rooted in our faith than we ever thought possible. We are forever grateful for her dedication to restoring our family."

"I had the privilege of working with Kym from ages 16 to 21, and her support has made a lasting difference in my life. Kym created a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where I always felt heard and understood. As a Christian therapist, she thoughtfully integrated faith into our conversations while providing insightful guidance during my teenage years.

Kym has helped me build confidence, develop healthy coping skills, and grow both personally and spiritually. I am deeply grateful for our relationship and dedication, and I could not recommend her more to anyone looking for a therapist. "

"I met Kym in 2021 when I was basically at the end of my rope and not sure where to turn. I reached out to a counseling center, was partnered with Kym, and I am so glad I was! She has been a huge source of encouragement for me as I've worked through a lot of stuff. I was nervous to begin counseling, but she is so easy to talk to--that nervousness disappeared quickly. I would recommend Kym to anyone, but especially those who are maybe a little nervous and unsure like I was. It will be the best thing you ever do for yourself!"
